CopUpBid Terms of Use

Please read these Terms carefully. By using CopUpBid, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. Introduction

CopUpBid (“CopUpBid”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is an online auction and e-commerce platform that also includes interactive games, heist-style events and other promotional mechanics (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services (including browsing products, placing bids, using heist modes, or completing purchases), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use (the “Terms”), as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

By using CopUpBid, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • You will use CopUpBid only for lawful purposes.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

To access certain features (bidding, games, heists, cart, orders) you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date registration details.
  • Keep your login details confidential.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts at our discretion (for example, for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms).

4. Platform Features

CopUpBid may include, without limitation:

  • Standard e-commerce purchases (“cash purchase”).
  • Time-based auctions where users place bids.
  • Heist or game modes with special mechanics.
  • Virtual points or credits (e.g. bid points / CopUpCoin).
  • Favorites, cart, waitlist and other user tools.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time, with or without notice.

5. Products, Listings & Pricing

Product listings, images, descriptions, and prices are provided by CopUpBid and/or our partners. We aim to keep this information accurate but errors may occur.

  • We may correct any error or omission and update information at any time.
  • Availability of items is not guaranteed and may be limited in quantity or time.
  • Some products may only be available through auctions or heist modes.

6. Bidding & Auctions

By participating in auctions on CopUpBid, you agree that:

  • Bids are binding commitments to buy if you win.
  • The highest valid bid at the end of the auction may be declared the winner, subject to rules and checks.
  • You must complete payment within the specified timeframe if you win.
  • We may cancel, extend, or adjust auctions if we detect errors, abuse, or technical issues.

We may void bids or restrict participation in case of suspected manipulation or fraud.

7. Games, Heists & Promotional Events

CopUpBid may host heist-style game modes, contests or promotions for entertainment and marketing purposes.

  • Such events are not intended to be gambling under applicable laws.
  • Specific rules (participants, selection mechanics, prizes, fees) will be shown on the event page.
  • We may suspend or cancel events in case of fraud, abuse, or technical problems.

It is your responsibility to ensure that participation is legal in your jurisdiction.

8. Virtual Currency, Coins & Bid Points

CopUpBid may offer virtual credits (such as bid points / CopUpCoin) to use inside the platform.

  • They are not real money and generally have no cash value.
  • They cannot usually be withdrawn, resold, or exchanged for fiat currency.
  • Purchases of virtual credits are typically final and non-refundable, unless required by law.
  • We may adjust, expire, or revoke credits in cases of fraud, abuse, or account closure.

9. Orders, Payments & Taxes

When you place an order or complete an auction/heist win, you agree to:

  • Provide valid payment information and authorise the transaction.
  • Pay all applicable charges, including shipping and taxes.
  • Comply with any limits or rules shown at checkout.

Payments are processed through third-party providers. While we take care in selecting them, we are not responsible for issues caused by those third parties beyond our reasonable control.

10. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout or on product pages.

  • We aim to ship within indicated timeframes, but delays may occur.
  • Risk of loss generally passes to you upon delivery to your specified address.
  • You are responsible for customs duties and import restrictions where applicable.

11. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

Our detailed refund/return rules may be published separately on the platform. In general:

  • Auction wins and heist rewards are usually final.
  • Cash purchases may be refundable or returnable according to our posted policy.

If you believe there was an error or unauthorised transaction, contact us promptly with details so we can review.

12. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use CopUpBid for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Manipulate bids, auctions or games via bots, scripts, fake accounts or collusion.
  • Disrupt or attack the platform (e.g. DDoS, exploiting bugs, injecting malware).
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff.
  • Use another user’s account without permission.

We may suspend accounts, cancel orders, or restrict access if we suspect prohibited activity.

13. Intellectual Property

The CopUpBid name, logo, designs, code, and other content are owned by us or our licensors.

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written consent.
  • You retain rights to lawful content you upload, but grant us a licence to use it to operate and promote CopUpBid.

14. Third-Party Services

We may link or integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, analytics, shipping). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party services.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CopUpBid and the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation, nor do we guarantee that content will always be accurate or up-to-date.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CopUpBid and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you will be limited to the amount you have paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or to the minimum higher amount required by law).

17. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict parts of the Services, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if required by law.

If your account is terminated, you may lose access to stored data, coins, bid points, or in-progress games, except where we are required by law to retain or provide it.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may post a notice in the app/website.

Continued use of CopUpBid after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law & Disputes
